Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

LetzLingo is made by Celebrus Inc. in Milton, Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"). This policy covers the LetzLingo app for iPhone and Android and the website letzlingo.com. It explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

The short version

The app

Stored on your phone. Your study progress (spaced-repetition schedule, streaks, XP, daily goal), your settings, your language choices and any audio packs or AI Tutor model you download are stored on your device. We can't see them. Deleting the app deletes them.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features people use and where the app needs work, for example which screens are opened, which study modes and games are used, and quiz results counts. Google collects device information (model, operating system, language, country from IP address) and an app-instance identifier with these events. On iPhone, the app asks for permission through Apple's tracking prompt before analytics starts, and you can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Google's use of this data is described at policies.google.com/privacy.

Audio packs and downloads. When you download an audio pack or the AI Tutor model, your phone requests the file from our content delivery provider. Like any web request, this shares your IP address with that provider so the file can be sent to you. We don't link it to you.

AI Tutor and answer checking. Both run entirely on your phone after the one-time download. What you type to the tutor, and your typed quiz answers, are not sent to us or to anyone else.

Reminders. Daily study reminders are scheduled on your phone. You can turn them off in the app's Settings or in your phone's notification settings.

Ads. The app does not show ads. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first.

Purchases. Everything in the app is free right now. If paid plans are added later, purchases are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We would receive only whether your subscription is active, never your payment details.

The website (letzlingo.com)

Children

LetzLingo is made for families: children learn with it, usually with a parent. The app has no accounts, no chat with other people and no way to share personal information. We don't knowingly collect names, email addresses, photos or contact details from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Sharing

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above (Google for analytics, Stripe for payments, our content delivery and hosting providers) so they can do their job for us, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Data on your phone stays until you delete the app. Website order records are kept as long as Canadian tax law requires. Sample-pack emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is kept for a limited period and then deleted automatically by Google.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. On iPhone you can turn tracking off at any time in iOS Settings. Depending on where you live (for example Canada under PIPEDA, the EU/UK under the GDPR, or California), you may have further rights, and you can complain to your privacy regulator.

Where data is stored

Our website and its data are hosted on our own servers in Canada. Google and Stripe may process data in other countries, including the United States, under their own privacy safeguards.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Big changes will also be shown in the app or on the website.
